A Dangerous Substitution
We live in a culture that denies absolutes. That’s why the term “sin†is so seldom used. It’s so final, so terminal. To admit to sin is to admit that we’re the problem. To admit that we sin repeatedly is to admit that we’re sinners. So, our culture has substituted the word “sin†with the word “mistake.â€Â But does being a “mistaker†adequately address our problem? Is this a dangerous substitution that could have an eternal impact on us? This message will dig into this issue and seek to find a resolution.
