Visiting any church for the very first time can be a tough experience.  Well, we want to put you at ease. Your first visit with Antioch Missionary Baptist will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and at home! We have tried to anticipate a few questions you might have to give you and idea of what you might expect on your first visit.

When are your services?

Sunday:

9:30 AM – Sunday School

10:30 AM – Morning Worship

1:00 PM – Afternoon Worship

Wednesday:

6:30 PM – Midweek Bible Study

Where are you Located?

Antioch Missionary Baptist Church is located at 4304 SE 10th Ave, Amarillo, Texas

At the corner of Bolton Street and Southeast 10th Avenue

What can I expect on my first visit?

When you visit a service at Antioch you won’t mistake it for a rock concert, a theater, a Broadway musical, a positive-thinking seminar or a political rally.  It won’t be like anything else you experience during the week.  It will be like church.

The singing will be alive as the hymns will be sung with passion.  This will include some old music as well as some new songs too, but all of them will sound like they belong to God.

The preaching will be direct and without apology, and it will be Bible.  Antioch is committed to the verse by verse exposition of God’s Word.  We believe it’s the best way to learn the communication that the God of the universe has given to mankind.  As such, you will be challenged and spiritually enriched because you have a better understanding of yourself and of God.

Who is your Pastor?

Antioch’s pastor is Bobby Loftin. You can call the church office at 806-374-1722 to contact him.

How should I dress?

There is no dress code at Antioch.  You will find that many of our church family wear more traditional “Sunday Dress,” however our first priority is that you would feel welcome during your visit with the Antioch Family.

Am I expected to participate in the Offering?

No.  We aren’t inviting you to Antioch for your offering.  We are inviting you to Antioch because we desire you to take part in the Worship which we offer to our Heavenly Father.  We hope that you will find a family spirit, truth from God’s Word and a place where you may grow spiritually by learning how to walk in fellowship with the Lord Jesus.  But we do not want you to feel obligated to participate in the offering.

Do you have other questions?

If you want to know more about the Antioch family or if you have more questions that were not answered here, please give us a call, send us an email or just ask someone when you arrive. Whether you are new to the community and are looking for a church home or if it’s been a long time since you’ve attended a church service, we hope your first visit to Antioch Missionary Baptist will be a special one.  We sincerely desire to be of spiritual service to you and your family.  We look forward to meeting you personally and pray that you will feel right at home from the very first moment of your visit with us.  We hope to see you this Sunday!
